IBA Client, Southwest Steel Coil, Named SBA 2013 Exporter of the Year

The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced the 2013 New Mexico Small Business Week Award Winners. The New Mexico Small Business Exporter of the Year winner is Ed Camden, president of Santa Teresa-based Southwest Steel Coil (SSC). Camden also won the Region VI Small Business Exporter of the Year Award. SSC has increased its exports, particularly to Mexico, dramatically over the past two years. This has resulted in the company expanding its production plant by 20,000 s.f. in March 2012, and launching a second expansion of 35,000 s.f. that is currently underway.

SSC will be honored at the New Mexico Small Business Week Awards Luncheon on June 4 at the Hotel Albuquerque.
